How to Become an Ordained Minister Online

One of the great things about living in the 21st century is now anyone can become a legally ordained minister online. As an ordained minister, you can officiate wedding ceremonies, baptisms, and other religious ceremonies.

  1. Find a website that ordains people online. You can go to Google and search for "ordained minister online" and find a long list of websites that do online ordinations.
  2. Check out websites for specific denominations These "churches" are open to any religious denomination and don't require you to switch from the religious faith you currently practice.
  3. Follow the online instructions to be ordained a minister. Some "churches" will do the ordination for free and some charge small fees for the ordination.
  4. Watch out for those who attempt to sell you different ministry packages later on. They include certificates and minister ID's that you can carry in your wallet. Having a real ID confirming that you are in fact a legally ordained minister adds to the fun.
